Our hometown-Portland, Oregon
I grew up in an entrepreneurial household where Dad was CEO, Mom was CFO and our family den served as the launching pad of the World Wide Headquarters of Curran Consulting. They say that once entrepreneurialism is in your blood, there is no turning back. My parents continue to be my heroes and I consider it a great privilege to be able to follow their bold footsteps with Legacy Builder Coaching.
I am a native Californian who grew up in the cities of Atlanta, London, and San Diego. I earned a B.A. in Psychology at Boston College and a Clinical Masters Degree at Smith College. I worked as a psychotherapist at Cornell Medical School’s teaching hospital in Manhattan for almost three years. I then went to work for Novartis for another three years where I learned how to coach and manage a sales team.
In order to bridge my clinical training with my business experience, I was certified by the Training and Organizational Development Program at New York University and the Core Essentials Program at Coach University. I also draw from my experience growing up within my family’s international management consulting business that patented the COBRA-Scan (www.cobra-scan.com).
In addition, I am the Director of ‘Ladies Who Launch Oregon’. Please go to www.ladieswholaunch.com/portland for more information about this female entrepreneurial community.
My husband, Tom and I relocated to Portland, Oregon in 2008 and are the honored parents of a delightful daughter, Ashlyn Marie.
